I just pulled this one out of storage, It's the Too Many Projects 3D printed body and bumpers, I'm still figuring out the interior details. So far I've stretched the chassis, that's two of the '77-'78 Monaco chassis's cut and glued back together, still needs a lot of work, the interior is from the same kit, the dash is from the AMT '70 Impala. That's the basic stuff I have done so far, now I need to figure out the proper way to make the '70 Dodge interior out of the parts I'm using, and fix the exhaust on the chassis. These are excellent subjects that they offer, I'm also working on the 1969 Polara 4 door sedan at the same time.

Here's the rear of the car, I'm fitting the taillights to the rear bumper, and the last two photos are the front bumper and grill options, one without the Dodge Superlite, And with it. I'm thinking about chroming and detailing both of them and leaving them interchangeable.

A 71-74 Charger dash would be pretty close to the right shape. Instrument panel itself would be way off but maybe you could work with it.

Look good. Too bad it's not a 74. We need a Blues Brothers mobile.

Would one of these do for the Blues Bros?

Not really, There is a 1/24th scale diecast by Greenlight that's really nicely done, it could use some actual chrome trim and Bumpers on it though, the bumpers are painted silver to represent it being an old car. That entire series of the Greenlight '74-'75 Dodge Monaco diecasts are really nicely done.

The Monaco would be close, but that one is not the right year. I actually have a real Polara behind my shop. I ever get too it, I can swap out the grill work and taillights and get it to look like the real thing. And it's a 400 big block car too.

This is the second time I primed this car, the first time I used an old can of Rust-Oleum Automotive Primer and it sprayed funny, so I let it dry and then stripped it with that new paint stripper, Dave's I think it's called, it didn't hurt the body at all, and took everything off it. Now I'm going to let this dry overnight and do some sanding on it to smooth it out. Very slow process with these.
