Speedpro Posted November 20, 2024 Posted November 20, 2024 Got this one wrapped up today. This is Revell's Larry Morgan's 1993 pro stock old's cutlass. Built straight out of the box, mcw plum crazy met enamel paint, mcw clear enamel and various alclad colors. Original decals were used. I call this a tune up build. Gives me a chance to keep the old skills honed. Thought this was going to be an easy kit, but it say's skill level 3 on the box for a reason. All in all, this was a fun build! Thanks for looking! 7
TonyK Posted November 20, 2024 Posted November 20, 2024 Ahhh going back a few years to some good Pro Stock cars. Very nice build. 1
Mike 1017 Posted November 20, 2024 Posted November 20, 2024 One of my favorite cars. Nice work. I built one about 18 years ago. How long have you owned it? Mike 1
TarheelRick Posted November 20, 2024 Posted November 20, 2024 Excellent Pro-Stock build, and as it says on the door a "Super Clean" build. Really like these older Pro-Stocks. 1
Brutalform Posted November 20, 2024 Posted November 20, 2024 (edited) Very impressive attention to details. At first glance I thought you have added aftermarket parts. Nice contrast of colors that you have used that appears on these real cars. I hear ya on the skill levels of these pro stock kits. I’ve built Revell level 5 Camaro kit, that in my opinion seemed WAY less difficult than these kits. Edited November 20, 2024 by Brutalform 1
Nitro330 Posted November 20, 2024 Posted November 20, 2024 Great box stock build of this Olds pro stock! Excellent work with the different Alclad colors on the engine. These kits can be tricky. 1

Mike Hey Mike, I've had this kit since '94 when it first came out. I got this one and the Warren Johnson AC Delco old's at the same time. The AC Delco car is being built as a Dale Earnhart Goodwrench Pro Stock car.

I have always thought it was weird to never really see these built and on the table at a show. I was getting ready to part this out but decided to build it. I found it very challenging and still fun at the same time. I believe a lot of these cars never made it to the finish line. Edited November 21, 2024 by Speedpro
Zippi Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 Just a Great looking drag car Paul. Really nice detail work and it looks like the decals really laid down necely. 1
NYLIBUD Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 Very nice job, bringing back a pro stock car from back in the day.Very clean build too.I can just picture,Larry racing up against, say Bob Glidden(RIP),or maybe Warren Johnson, hitting that 200 mark. 1
Nacho Z Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 She looks great! A very clean build for sure. 1
