TarheelRick Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 Definitely a different concept. Very nice clean build, really like the paint.
1930fordpickup Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 Now this is how you get towed in style. Very nice.
espo Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 Great looking conversion on the body. Like the bed floor and the boom details.
XYHARRY Posted November 23, 2024 Posted November 23, 2024 Cool build there Phillip, well done. Cheers, David. 😎👍
bbowser Posted November 23, 2024 Posted November 23, 2024 I've seen Packards converted, why not a Caddy? Real nice job.
stavanzer Posted November 23, 2024 Posted November 23, 2024 Easy way to get Gas Ration points in WWII. It was now a Truck/Agricultural vehicle, thus qualifying for more gas. A few of the Big Classics from the 1930's survived the war, to be restored in the 1950, by using this strategy.
Lucius Molchany Posted November 24, 2024 Author Posted November 24, 2024 I have heard that a few guys had their Dusenbergs converted to stake bed trucks with the body shops saving the bodies for reconversion after the war! 1
