DRIPTROIT 71 Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 This is the KFS cab from STS. It is the best all around resin cab conversion that have ever bought. The fit is excellent. It is on the Testors Freightliner chassis. The headache rack is from RNK, the hydraulic tank is from Kootenany, the wheels are Clint Freeman. My vision for this build changed about a dozen times and l’m not 100% happy with the finished product, but it is what it is. 11
Jürgen M. Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 Nice truck! Like the long chassis! Got a trailer planned? 1
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted November 21, 2024 Author Posted November 21, 2024 (edited) Thanks! No trailer plans at this point. Edited November 21, 2024 by DRIPTROIT 71 1
BK9300 Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 Your vision may have changed a lot along the way, but the finished truck and all its details, sure looks well planned and thought out! Like the outdoors photography too - really shows off your truck well. 1
Gary Chastain Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 That is one sharp truck, well done Brian 1
Biggu Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 Whats not to like ? Its a beauty , super nice job on that one. Eye candy for sure Jeff
Old Buckaroo Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 Wow what a looker , you've really upped your game on your model trucks. This is exceptional work and detail - the antenna really caught my eye as that is a item often overlooked. Good to see you posting - was worried you might had floated off after that last hurricane. 1
PappyD340 Posted November 21, 2024 Posted November 21, 2024 Super nice build there Brian, well done! 1
leafsprings Posted November 22, 2024 Posted November 22, 2024 Great looking build, the KFS cab looks very high quality, accessories and paint scheme graphics look period correct. Cast spoke rear and Budd fronts are becoming contagious around here, have to try it sometime. 1
vincen47 Posted November 22, 2024 Posted November 22, 2024 Nice job as usual, Brian. I’ve always been a fan of your builds, from concept to execution. They always look the part, great on detail and aftermarket parts, making for an accurate and unique model. This one doesn’t disappoint, either. 1

I wish the decals would have turned out perfect, but they were a battle, at least for me, to get them as good as I did. 22 hours ago, BK9300 said: Your vision may have changed a lot along the way, but the finished truck and all its details, sure looks well planned and thought out! Thanks Sean!! Thankfully the hurricane didn’t affect us very much! Glad to see you back on here. Hopefully my next project won’t take 5 months like this one did.😀 18 hours ago, PappyD340 said: Super nice build there Brian, well done! Speaking of all the extra junk, I was trying to reflect an owner operator who had pulled and could pull just about anything. It has a headache rack for logs and flatbeds, a wet line for dumps, etc., I even made the fifth wheel to where it could be pinned for a frameless dump. 16 hours ago, vincen47 said: Nice job as usual, Brian. I haven’t had much build time over the past few months and was just glad to see it finished.😀 8 hours ago, Bronzekeg said: great job Brian!! Thanks Ken!! 2

Pete68 Posted November 24, 2024 Posted November 24, 2024 Wow Brian that is a great looking truck and those stripes are Killer. The direction you took was awesome this is one to be proud of the stance of this 1/25 White is the best I’ve seen. Thanks for sharing. 1
BigBad Posted November 26, 2024 Posted November 26, 2024 That really turned out great! An excellent build of a really nice looking truck! Love the stripes!! 2
Rockford Posted November 26, 2024 Posted November 26, 2024 That just a fantastic looking truck. Always loved these things and that paint scheme, just such a striking set of stripes. Your work is so clean and precise. I wish there were more of these around in kit form and in reality. 2
iamsuperdan Posted November 27, 2024 Posted November 27, 2024 Well you may not be happy with it, but I sure would be. Looks great! 2
