avidinha Posted November 28, 2024 Posted November 28, 2024 I made this XLR gasser from a Jimmy Flintstone body, the chassis from a '54 Chevy and a bunch of stuff from my parts box. 2
M W Elky Posted November 28, 2024 Posted November 28, 2024 I would have never of thought to put all of those parts together. It looks great
Chuckyg1 Posted November 30, 2024 Posted November 30, 2024 Cool little build. What class does it run?

I don't know much about drag racing so I had to look it up. A factory XLR curb weight is 3,647lbs and it has the 409 from the '54 Chevy kit, so that would put it in B class, but if the builders were able to shave about 800lbs, that would put it in A class.
Steamboat Posted November 30, 2024 Posted November 30, 2024 Nice job! It's a Vette gasser for the 21st century in the tradition of the old ones.
Jim Dodson Posted December 2, 2024 Posted December 2, 2024 Something from the "Beverly Hills 90210 Race Team"! Looks Killer!
Scott8950 Posted December 22, 2024 Posted December 22, 2024 It's always neat to see someone put leftover parts together and create something really cool. Great job
