One can only hope!!
vamach1 Posted November 30, 2024 Posted November 30, 2024 Gerry Chevalier has a resin body of a 69 coupe. Send him a PM. The Revell 69/70 coupe/convertible kits have not been made since the early 1970s so I would not hold your breath on the ever being reissued.
Bainford Posted November 30, 2024 Posted November 30, 2024 Yeah, pretty sure that Revell Mustang Grande was butchered to make the Boss Mustang Funny Car.
Dave Van Posted November 30, 2024 Posted November 30, 2024 (edited) Bandt did a 69 or 70 but you'd have to look for it as he is not casting now IIRC UPDATE: It was a 70 and he is shutdown for good. Edited November 30, 2024 by Dave Van

Ive heard that before but the funny car body barely resembles the street coupe body and does not share any other parts that I can see. I have built both the original 69 and 70 kits as convertibles.

I've built the funny car as a kid, but I have never actually seen one of the Revell Grande/convertible kits in person.

Bainford Posted December 1, 2024 Posted December 1, 2024 Yeah, it seems pretty clear there is little in common with the two bodies. One of those Grandes and a Revell Boss or Mach 1 would make a cool kitbash.
