Well I’ve finished another one of my favorite 1/32 scale trucks the Chevy Bison. This was another extra old Monogram kit I used and put the New Revell Decals on but I didn’t have any extra side emblems for it.  It would have been nice if Revell added a extra pair or two of them on the decal sheet like AMT.  While building this truck I always thought it would be that kinda truck to run in the Blue Ridge and Appalachian Mountains pulling a dry van for some reason.  I chose 1980 for the year on this one because that was the last year Chevrolet was in the Class 8 truck market and I seen a brochure of a 1980 Bison on the front that was my inspiration. This was strictly Out of the box. I usual don’t like using the dash decals but on this one I decided too and I liked them. Enjoy the pics.

Great to see another fine 1/32 scale classic semi being built and displayed. I'm looking forward to having a go at this kit in 2025. Hopefully turns out half as nice as this one!

Another big grille beauty with a perfect photo back drop. She looks clean, straight and powerful. GM/ Chevrolet had a perfect design for a class 8 truck. Nice job Lee.

Thanks for stopping by Jeff. I appreciate the complement and I agree wish Chevrolet would have kept going in the Truck class 8

Looks awesome, Lee!  Going to have to take some pointers from you on outdoors photo shoots - adds so much.  Looks like truck is parked on a real gravel road.

This remains a great kit.

Yes it is Steve this one was always my favorite. Finally Revell put some decals in the kit to make some beautiful trucks. Thanks for the complement and stopping by.
