just not happy with the finish on the wheels. they look too much like chrome plastic.

It depends on what you are after, highly polished aluminum wheels are very shiny, almost looks to be chrome...but it's just about taste, I mean wheels that are not highly polished don't shine as much and if they are left alone for a long time they get very dull.
But I don't like the look of the wheels for the reason I gave in my last post, the Moebius wheels doesn't look right for this era truck either, they are too modern.

I like them Ken the way they are once when  you get the cab and everything else added  they will blend in and calm down I think. To be honest I think they have a Polish look more than chrome plastic look my self. Take it from some who has had owned  Antique Show trucks and was an Owner Operator who knows about those older Alcoa wheels they look fine.

taillights and mud flaps are done. going for a factory fresh look. decals on mud flaps are from the kit. fender decals from model trucker. chassis pretty much wrapped up except the front bumper which I will mount after the cab is fitted. I have started on interior door jams and pictures will follow. weather has been below freezing, way too cold to paint the cab.

I agree Ken that’s my favorite look. Going to do the same on my Mack R too like it just rolled off the dealership.

That thing is looking great Ken I like the mudflats.

started on the interior by extending the floors out to meet the inside of the body. I also spent a little time on the sleeper bedding. finally got a little weather so I painted the sleeper walls, pics of them to follow.

steering wheel assembly is kit supplied, and the pedals are from the k123 kit. the seats have been painted but not installed yet. interior has been test fitted in the cab and everything seems to be fine so far.
