oldcarfan Posted December 10, 2024 Posted December 10, 2024 Not sure this belongs here, and it might have already been covered, but I just discovered these at Hobby Lobby. Some of them might look good in a street scene. I bought one to use in a man cave photo backdrop for my models but have only glanced at it so far. The smaller parts are kind of clunky, but overall for the price, they seem to be pretty good. They look similar to the Rolife ones. If they go on 40% off sale they might be an even better good deal. 4
stitchdup Posted December 10, 2024 Posted December 10, 2024 i've seen some of those built up and detailed. they can look really good with a little extra added 1
oldcarfan Posted December 10, 2024 Author Posted December 10, 2024 The ones I looked at even had a couple of LED lights and a battery pack so for the price I might get another.
oldcarfan Posted December 16, 2024 Author Posted December 16, 2024 I'm going to start one of these soon and see how it goes. If nothing else, they might provide a good base for a diorama.
TonyK Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 I grabbed the trailer diorama. Fun but can be challenging. Nice that the parts are already in their proper colors. The clear plastic for windows was missing in the box but luckily I have some. 1
