Excellent work Steve! I particularly like the Riviera, the custom T-Bird and the Red Baron.

I'd really like to get one of those Red Barons in my collection.

Hi Steve;

Beautiful builds! I have a couple questions, if you'd be so kind. Where did you find those wire wheels on the Chevrolet Panel Truck...? I am looking for a good set of wires, but want to put some pie crust slicks on the rears. Are they 3D resin in one piece, or are the wheels/tires separate...?

Thanks in advance,

Steve

Hi, Steve.

Thanks,

Those wheels. They're actually the stock wheels that the kit came with but I widened them with resin rims.

Good luck finding one though. A lot easier finding one of the '32 roadsters. Same kit except for the body so the same stock wheels.

Sounds like you want a set for a rod with the slicks though. Personally, I'd get a set of the printed ones. The stock wheels in the '32 kits scale out to about 18 or 19 inches. I doubt you'd find those slicks that big.

Thank you. I agree and will pursue the printed options online. Those I've seen look like they'd be perfect, but I can't tell if they are printed as one piece or if the tires are separate. I've asked that question several times, but no responses yet. Have considered grinding there tires away, but that seems like it would be dangerous given how fragile resin can be. My backup plan is a set of Torq Thrust from the parts bin. Have always liked those classics. I appreciate your help!
