RACINE ISHRAQUR RAZA Posted December 28, 2024 Posted December 28, 2024 1/25 scale resin 1972 AMC Matador Woodie Station Wagon from the resin model car business called Too Many Projects on facebook, owned by Dr. Robert Burns of USA. He's known as Modelerrob on ebay. For the AMC interior I modified a broken '64 Dodge Polara interior tub and built up on that. The floor is also from the same wrecked '64 Dodge model. The wheels came from my parts bin as well as a few other bits and pieces. 15
Dave Van Posted December 28, 2024 Posted December 28, 2024 Very cool build!!! My grandfather had a number of AMC wagons....last one was a 'coffin nose'!
Kah puts Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 We don’t see many AMC’s here, thanks for bringing us this pearl 👍
Bucky Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 A stunning Matador! Great color. The wood grain looks perfect!
LennyB Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 Very nice build. We had one of these in the family many years back didn’t know this was available. I might need to build one.
karbuildr Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 That is great work. Very cool to see such a nice wagon posted.
bob29579 Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 That came out really nice, love the wood grain.
bogger44 Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 Now that's something you don't see everyday. Very cool build, and nicely done!
W-409 Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 Never knew this was even available as a resin kit. Glad to see an AMC station wagon built, especially when you've done a very nice job with it. Congrats on a beautiful and unique model.
Bainford Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 Now there's a model you don't see every day. Nice work on the Matador. It's cool to see unusual stuff.
ReduitRetro Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 I LIKE it! Good to see something on here of a build that's not too common. Good job!
beeRS Posted January 1 Posted January 1 That’s super cool. Very good detail work. I like the PE windshield wipers.
RACINE ISHRAQUR RAZA Posted January 1 Author Posted January 1 Thank you everyone for the compliment! Much appreciated!
RACINE ISHRAQUR RAZA Posted January 1 Author Posted January 1 @Dave Van Hopefully in the near future you'll get to see my completed 'coffin nose' '74 four door sedan. 1
RACINE ISHRAQUR RAZA Posted January 1 Author Posted January 1 @Kah puts I'll be sharing many more AMC models as soon as I finish restoring them. Unfortunately many sought after AMC models are just not being produced today in plastic form, and if we find an old promo or a kit they tend to be rare and expensive which is probably why we don't see many AMC here. The resin models are not the easiest to obtain either, and when we do get one they are quite challenging to build.
