I started a WIP nearly 4 years ago (see below).  Like all of my projects and tools/kits/supplies, everything soon got packed away for our upcoming retirement and big move.  Well, four years later, having completed our move and set up an awesome hobby area in our basement, and with winter set in here in North Dakota, I've been able to pull some projects out and get back to work.  As my WIP explains, this Hot Rod Lincoln was based on Charlie Ryan's original build of a Lincoln V12 in his Model A.  The original song written by Charlie said "Got 12 cylinders and uses 'em all".

I stretched the hood, relocated the radiator and fabricated the cross bar the headlights mount on, since the original was straight across with the short 4-cyl.  I cut down the Lincoln dash and installed it with the Lincoln steering wheel.  It was a fun project, but finishing up was a bit of a pain, the body and windows were quite fiddly.  I ended up cutting my own windows from clear plastic so that I could get them glued in.  Anyway, I'm calling this one done.  This is my second completed model in the past 30 years.  Whoopee!  Thanks for looking.

Very cool! That is exactly how I picture Hot Rod Lincoln every time I hear the song.  Clearly this is before that fateful race up Grapevine Hill, as there is no damage from the fenders clicking the guardrail posts.  Nice work on this build, and congrats on getting another one completed.

Thank you!  You know the guys beside me was white as a ghost.  But hey, he's the one that ribbed me for being behind!

Nice project. I am curious as to what the other model is that you completed in the last 30 years !!??

Thank you!  The other project which I just recently completed is this model of a '64 Chevy C20 I owned about 40 years ago.
