Greasefinger Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 (edited) Been looking for a 1:24 or 1:25 scale kit of the classic yellow american school bus (like in the picture below). Considering it has become a symbol of American life like Mustangs, Corvettes or Peterbilts, I'm surprised I have found only some diecasts. Interestingly, Zeropaints do have a color called "American school bus yellow" in their catalogue. Now only the bus is missing. https://www.zero-paints.com/American_School_Bus_Yellow_Paint_60ml--product--7627.html Thanks for any info. Edited December 30, 2024 by Greasefinger
stitchdup Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 the monogram s'cool bus might give you most of a body but you might need a second body to unchop or unsection it. there are a few print files available if you have access to a 3d printer. the print files cover various years from the 50 chevy and ford trucks through to current international versions. the chassis are usually kinda toyish on the prints
iamsuperdan Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 I have 3d print files for a mid-80s Ford-based Thomas B700. Haven't printed yet though. 1
peteski Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 There was a build thread on this forum some time ago where one of the members scratchbuilt a school bus in 1:25. It was very well done.
