Mike 1017 Posted January 11 Posted January 11 I saw these today while getting the morning paper. Can anyone tell me what animal made these? Thanks Mike

Mike 1017 Posted January 12 Author Posted January 12 We have lived here for 15 years, and I have never seen a feral cat or dog. Plenty of other wildlife. Thanks Mike
ksnow Posted January 13 Posted January 13 That's a kitty cat for sure. Very round, where a canine track would be more oval. Canine tracks would also show claws, especially in that light snow cover. And canines also typically leave a 2x2 track pattern, their hind foot falls beside their front foot. Cats often step their hind foot directly into the front foot track.

Thanks Mike At our old house, my wife had three regulars that were feral, that she fed at breakfast and dinner. The city had a catch and release program that got the cats spayed, and clipped the ear tip so you knew they were not going to reproduce. I hope it stays that way for you where you live. I feel bad for these little furry critters. 2
