Sam I Am Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Many years ago I saw a picture of a 1971 Plymouth Duster with a slant six. Somewhere along the way I picked up a resin bench seat, and sourced a slant six from the Lindberg 1964 Dodge 330, I already had the Duster kit. I'm sure I can come up with wheels and tires from my parts box, but I need the caps. Before you ask, no I do not have the ones from the 330 kit. I traded those off years ago before I remembered my Duster.... I have included a picture of the factory hub caps. I just need to come close, I'm not too picky. 😁
Keef Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Fireball Modelworks has them, I believe Texas3DCustoms does as well
Old Buckaroo Posted January 14 Posted January 14 I'm pretty sure I have some, might even be resin. I cant access them till tomorrow, but I will take a look.

Old Buckaroo Posted January 14 Posted January 14 (edited) Sam sorry to disappoint you - I have a Super Bee model that came with two sets of hubcaps and other vacuform and resin parts. The darn dogdish looking hubcaps have "chevy bowties" in the center. Not why they were in with this other than maybe a mix up by previous owner. Edit - The revell 1/24 1979 Plymouth Roadrunner kit has these hubcaps, they are about 7mm across and 1mm in depth Edited January 14 by Old Buckaroo

If I can't trade for any, I'd like to support a member before going anywhere else.
stavanzer Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Charles Estes who owns Texas3D Customs is a member here, and so is Joseph who owns Fireball. I've not seen a post from Joseph in sometime, but he is a member. Buy with Confidence.
Bills72sj Posted January 15 Posted January 15 Yes, Fireball stuff is excellent. Especially carbs, wheels and door handles.

1930fordpickup Posted January 17 Posted January 17 Those are from the little red wagon. I checked my kit today. Is there a hub cap in the Duster kits? AMT. The Demon kits do not have them. .

Sam I Am Posted January 17 Author Posted January 17 The ones that Old Buckaroo showed are the closest. I did find that Fireball has them also. Thanks everyone.
