1978 Mack RD685S Dump Truck w/ Valk Snow Plow

This was a very fun build one I’ve dreamed for many years and now another model off my Model Bucket list. I want a look like the truck just was delivered from the Mack Dealership. I appreciate all who supported me and your encouraging comments. Thank you. Enjoy the pics.

Brian yes it does only 18 more Mack’s to go 😂 I appreciate you complement and following the build. I was hoping to get it done before the snow melted we’re finally thawing out here.

Very nice clean job of kit bashing Lee.  You certainly have achieved your goal on this one. Your pictures have always turned out great, and having done this truck up in time during the snow was very cool. She sits perfect, like the real truck and the paint is spot on. It’s a fantastic piece and my favorite.

Thank you so much Bill I really appreciate it and you dropping in and commenting. A few things you taught me about building model Trucks when I first started 40 years ago this month was neatness and presentation of you Build. 
 

I was wondering if I was going to capture the look and pic that I wanted the snow/ice is melting fast here and to be honest the build was wearing me down. The encouragement of the guys here and you kept me going on this build. I usually don’t impress you like this with my builds but I’m glad you like this one especially because it’s a Mack 😂Take care brother
