Tommy124 Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Hi there, this snap kit was much better than expected and offers a nice body shape, unlike other kits (Arii 1982 Corvette, for instance). I did some detailing on the interior and body but mostly concentrated on the paint job. Great fun to build! It has to be said that the kit has not much to do with the actual "Turbo Vette", but depicts a regular 1980 model (if I'm not mistaken). But that was just what I was looking to build. 13
ncbuckeye67 Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Beautiful work. That paint is amazing! I really love the color. 1
lordairgtar Posted January 23 Posted January 23 I never bought that particular kit because I just didn't trust it's accuracy. I might have to buy it because it looks rather nice. 1
karbuildr Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Very well done Corvette. The color looks great with the light colored interior. 1
Kah puts Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Beautiful paint, could you share the paint colour and brand, thanks 👍 1

There is another variant of the same kit for a "custom corvette", with a raised custom hood and turbine wheels (red model shown on the box top). I will be looking out for that one, too. 7 hours ago, Kah puts said: Beautiful paint, could you share the paint colour and brand, thanks 👍 Thanks, the color is a metallic green from the can by German brand Multona. If you need more details, let me know.

Could you point me in the right direction in acquiring some? 1
Tommy124 Posted January 26 Author Posted January 26 Many thanks again guys, I appreciate it! On 1/25/2025 at 4:36 PM, DiscoRover007 said: This is excellent work! I love that green metallic color. Turned out that it's a Ford paint called Pacific Green. I might do a 90's Mustang in it one day. 😀
