Quick GMC Posted January 24 Posted January 24 I don't finish kits very often, but I just wrapped this one up. My first completed build with 3D printed parts. Body kit from P24 on Cults3D, but can also be purchased printed out from Texas 3D Customs Engine printed out from Slowly's Models on Cults3D Front tube frame printed out from Nineteen 3D on Cults3D Other miscellaneous interior bits 3D printed Eduard photoetched seat harness Verte Artemis Lamborghini color from Splash paints This was a lot of work, my most complex build so far, which isn't saying much. Lot's of mistakes and I have a lot to learn, but I learned a lot on this one and hope to get better. Painting and clear coating is my weak link. It took a lot to get it to this point, and I tried to not highlight mistakes in the pics. Completed over the course of 7 weeks 19
espo Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Beautiful paint color and finish. Like the body shape and add-ons. The engine is sort of center stage and looks great. Like the interior color and finish.
Quick GMC Posted January 26 Author Posted January 26 Thanks guys, appreciate it. I am pretty happy with this one
Chinacar Posted January 26 Posted January 26 It's a great job! Hard to categorise this one but it's a whole lot of fun. I'm planning on doing the same to an NSX by kit bashing. You an get a lot of inspiration from Speed hunters.
Zippi Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Nice looking build. I'm liking the color and the muscle in the business end.
satterwhite78 Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Very impressed with the detail from which you got the kit and the additions you used to further enhance it, a visual delight....you done great on this one and the next one will be better. We are our own worst critics and if any disagrees, they haven't turned the corner yet. That is a paint job I would gladly pay for! Can't wait to see what come around the corner next...
XYHARRY Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Cool looking Z, looks like alot of fun. Well done Cameron. Cheers, David. 😎👍
