Daf57 Posted January 28 Posted January 28 Right, so I've been out of the modeling world for several years now. But the itch is strong. First move was to reconnect with the community. But for the life of me I can't find the old Scale Auto forums? Looks like they were acquired and closed by Fine Scale? What happened to all the great posts??? Daf
Bugatti Fan Posted January 28 Posted January 28 All of the Scale Auto Forum and gallery were deleted when the magazine ceased publication a few years back. I think that Kalmbach were selling CD roms with all the back issues on them. Kalmbach Publishing Company has been sold on including any titles they printed like Fine Scale Modeler. 1
Daf57 Posted January 28 Author Posted January 28 What a shame! That forum had a LOT of useful info. Thanks!
Leo64 Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Finescale.com has a forum on its website and has a section for cars. I don't think they moved all the old Scale Auto forums over to it, but you can try looking there. Kalmbach Publishing was recently sold to Firecrown (I believe it is called) and they've updated the Finescale forum. Steve A. 1

I couldn't enter via my old info just today or old automatic link, or at all earlier in the week. Today I signed in via Google. Just fwiw. It appears to have undergone a face lift lol.
Bugatti Fan Posted February 1 Posted February 1 I believe that all the old SAM forum posts and gallery were deleted when the magazine ceased production back in the Kalmbach days.
