VanGoGo Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Pretty much done! Not a bad kit, always been a fan of old v-dubs! Mostly stock, lowered the suspension and the rest is stock~ 12
Bainford Posted February 4 Posted February 4 That is one fine looking bus. Love the colours, and looks great lowered. Very nice! 1
karbuildr Posted February 4 Posted February 4 Very cool looking V-dub bus. Great color, really well done interior. 1
Chuckyg1 Posted February 5 Posted February 5 Now that's is cool, neat, tidy and great attention to detail. Good choice is colors and dig the lower stance. 1
johnyrotten Posted February 5 Posted February 5 Beautiful vw. Lowered just right. The color combo, inside and out, perfect. Very well done. 1
Doug 1061 Posted February 5 Posted February 5 Very nice. Window tint is a nice touch. This is a nice kit. I built one a few years back, I was a bit concerned with that multi piece body but it all fell together with no trouble. 1
Mike 1017 Posted February 5 Posted February 5 Very Nice great color combo. These 23 Window Sambas sell for over $100,000 at auction. 1
STU111 Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Nice colour scheme and lowered stance makes for one cool looking VW bus. Lots to like about this one! 👍🏻 1
Phildaupho Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Very nicely built. I once had a 65 that I never got the way I wanted. Many years later I almost bought a lowered 67 but not well done and unsafe at any speed !! 1
Bugatti Fan Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Very nice model and beautifully finished. Have you lowered the ride height on the model a bit Vince ? 1

Its lowered quite a bit...I even cheated and used a trick I've never tried before...cut the tops of the tires off so the wheels tuck further up into the fenderwells😆. When I was doing reseach online I noticed bus owners had to cut out and build front 'tubs' under the seats, quite a bit of work!
