GLMFAA1 Posted February 18 Posted February 18 Since you are offering different rear bodies for the Ford pick up here is my suggestion: How about an ambulance body. One body that has a TV connection would be the seldom seen 1973 Ford Modulance type 1 ambulance. 4 of them Dietz gumballs from the wrecker would look good on corners of the box. greg 6
maxwell48098 Posted February 19 Posted February 19 I think that the ambo body is a great idea. Where I live in SE MI, there were several local fire departments that had Ford F350 (both 4 and 2WD) Pierce mini-pumpers. They all used the same Ford chassis that the current Ford wrecker kits use. I used one of the wrecker bodies and put it on a '74 Dodge D series chassis. I'm considering using the Ford chassis for a mini-pumper or lite rescue. A.J. 1
leafsprings2 Posted March 9 Posted March 9 (edited) Sounds like a good idea, could be used on several mfg. cabs too. The Fords were "single wheel" F 350 1 tons. A '72 F 350 version was used in one or two episodes. But in this day and age, best chances for this in the aftermarket 3d resin. Edited March 15 by leafsprings2 1
AlbertS Posted March 12 Posted March 12 I agree! You were making your way through 72, no do the 73-79 cab and the 80-86 cab, I asure you, you have a buyer here if you do.

Recommend you repost this in the "Industry Corner" Truck News and Reviews folder in the MCM forum. Mobius personnel are known to visit that site from time to time....Cheers....TIM
GLMFAA1 Posted April 1 Author Posted April 1 Thanks for suggestion Tim. Maybe one of the moderators could do that. To the another matter there are after market 'mods' out there but I think Moebius would put more thought into it as a detailed interior and equipment like a correct model 30 Ferno cot. greg
