RECEIVED THIS JUST NOW. TOTALLY BOGUS LYING SCAMMING BS.

LOGGED INTO MY PP ACCOUNT, NO SUCH TRANSACTION.

I got that exact same email three days ago. These people should be publicly drawn and quartered.

Agreed.

I  always forward the spoofs to the security emails for the legitimate sites, and to the FCC, but nothing ever seems to be done.

There should be a federal agency with some actual teeth to go after these scumballs heavy, hard, and fast.

You have any evidence of that?

I'm aware of what the FCC and FTC do regarding stopping scammers, and far as I can tell, it's essentially nothing but offering consumers advice on how to recognize BS, report it, and avoid getting suckered.

There is a bill before Congress, passed by the House, but apparently not yet by the Senate.
