I always forward the spoofs to the security emails for the legitimate sites, and to the FCC, but nothing ever seems to be done. There should be a federal agency with some actual teeth to go after these scumballs heavy, hard, and fast.

I'm aware of what the FCC and FTC do regarding stopping scammers, and far as I can tell, it's essentially nothing but offering consumers advice on how to recognize BS, report it, and avoid getting suckered. There is a bill before Congress, passed by the House, but apparently not yet by the Senate. https://www.congress.gov/bill/117th-congress/house-bill/1215 Edited March 20 by Ace-Garageguy
TonyK Posted March 20 Posted March 20 I was trying to be funny. That's why I included the little "wink face".
