Jeffcad Posted February 22 Posted February 22 (edited) Hi guys, Here's a 1/25th replica of an amazing and unique Cadillac that was part of the German Cadillac museum's collection "Müller & Hensel" in Hachenburg. As a teen, I was fascinated by this stretched limousine conversion of a '78 Eldorado front and '76 Deville rear end. The real car was pictured in a small ad in a long gone french car magazine. I have downloaded the pictures on internet about 20+ years ago and these are the only 2 known pictures of the car. So far...( ? ) I got in touch with the museum 2 years ago to learn more about the limo, if some pics were available, if the car was still alive, who made it and when ( very Moloney style IMO), but I wasn't really lucky getting much answers. Looks like the museum have been closed recently for obscur reasons. Anyway, here's my take of her, that I have made with a 1976 JoHan's Eldorado front and a resin 1976 DeVille donor by TMP (Robert Burns). Thanks for watching, and for sharing infos if anyone knows a bit more about her. Edited February 22 by Jeffcad 15
karbuildr Posted February 22 Posted February 22 What a beauty. I had no idea a car like this existed. Your build is flawless and quite striking. 1

Chuckyg1 Posted February 22 Posted February 22 Lots of styrene and fun I'm sure. Real nice project... but where to display it?🙃
Claude Thibodeau Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Salut Jean-Philippe! Wow, truly unique, and well done, as usual. Bravo! If I may: what is the color, exactly? CT 1
Nacho Z Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Now that is a true land yacht! I can only imagine how much work you put into this. It came out fantastic! 1
espo Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Beautify done body and paint. Your build looks just like the car in the pictures. A vehicle with this long on a wheelbase would be hard to drive around corners on narrow streets since you would start turning in the middle of the block. 1

Yes, a pretty long car, considering this particular one wasn't built for a stunt or a world record. I like these stretched limos, cool in a way but as nice as ridiculous. Early in the 80s, they went crazier and crazier. 1

CT Salut Claude, merci ! 1

Koellefornia Kid Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Very nice rendition of the real car! Well done! 1
Jon Cole Posted February 28 Posted February 28 Jean-Philippe, that has to be one of the best Cadillac limousines I have ever seen in scale! 1
