Xingu Posted March 28 Posted March 28 I wouldn’t even start to worry until 6 weeks have passed since It left the printer. Magazines are treated badly by the postal service, which already treats everything else badly. 1
TarheelRick Posted March 29 Posted March 29 Mine arrived in western North Carolina on Thursday. Pretty good issue.
TonyK Posted March 29 Posted March 29 I'm happy to say I got mine in Oregon. Hope the rest of you get yours soon. 1

Right now mail going through Louisville and Indianapolis is a mess. For the magazine we publish all issues of magazines not arriving were in Indiana. It creates quite a pain for publishers.
Force Posted March 30 Posted March 30 (edited) Got mine here in Sweden Wednesday last week. Edited March 30 by Force
JTalmage Posted April 1 Posted April 1 People I know in Columbus, OH have got theirs, yet people I know in Dayton, OH, and myself further south close to the Ohio river, have not gotten theirs. Weird.
Dave Ambrose Posted April 1 Author Posted April 1 There seem to be more delivery problems than we typically have with a mailed out issue. My canary issue hasn't arrived yet and it's usually here within 2 weeks of mail-out. As an aside, I'm having a lot more delivery problems than usual from the USPS, so something systemic is going on. We're trying to ascertain what. The Postmaster General recently resigned, effective immediately and I suspect they're related.
Bill Eh? Posted April 1 Posted April 1 (edited) I just received my first subscription issue (#226) today. I'm excited. Toronto, ON Edited April 1 by Bill Eh? added info 1
Phildaupho Posted April 1 Posted April 1 226 arrived Victoria BC Canada today April 1. I read the digital version but it sure a pleasure to hold and look at the hard copy !!
LennyB Posted April 2 Posted April 2 Finally showed up in NY today 4-2. And just to show how much importance the PO puts on magazines. I get e-mail notifications daily letting me know what mail to expect. E-mail this morning said I was getting junk mail from Planet Fitness and T Mobile, no mention of the magazine. Apparently junk mail takes higher priority.😥 1
Volzfan59 Posted April 2 Posted April 2 Still nothing in Crossett, AR. My bass fishing magazines arrived today, just like clockwork.
Dave Ambrose Posted April 3 Author Posted April 3 My canary copy arrived today. Roughly 2-1/2 weeks later than usual.
rrb124@sbcglobal.net Posted April 3 Posted April 3 Watching my snail mail box each day with fingers crossed in Little Rock, Arkansas. 1
Matt87 Posted April 4 Posted April 4 I just got mine yesterday. Im not upset about the delay though it is very understandable. Another great issue!
Tim W. SoCal Posted April 4 Posted April 4 My issue arrived in my neck of SoCal Wednesday. I've been so busy I haven't had a chance to peel the plastic envelope yet...
Volzfan59 Posted April 5 Posted April 5 I received mine in Crossett, AR today! I hope that my fellow Arkansan, @rrb124@sbcglobal.net received his too.
Dave Ambrose Posted April 5 Author Posted April 5 This is completely unlike previous issues. But, I think we're in trouble when Canada Post is beating out the USPS for deliveries. 1

But, I think we're in trouble when Canada Post is beating out the USPS for deliveries. Still not here in my environs here in the Detroit suburbs. However, I am concluding that this is just the latest example of mail service here that has really declined big time in punctuality the last two or three months. It is taking first class mail up to two weeks to show up here after the mailing date. Really???!!! Phone bills arriving just two days before the due date? Year-end tax statements showing up two or three weeks after the financial house reported they were mailed? And of, course magazines showing up weeks after newsstand arrival. I've always experienced a wide variety of delivery dates of MCM...sometimes very soon after your Forum annoucement....mostly about the same time others report seeing them in the mail box...and occasionally some days later than most. Something is very different this time...and I do not think it has to do with MCM.... TB 1
