michelle Posted March 2 Posted March 2 this is part of a what if series of models the what if subject is what if the dukes of hazzard was made in australia and set in the fictional small town of hazzard south australia this is my forth car build in this series of models i built this 74 chrysler vj valiant sedan using the current mpc chp 78 monaco kit i cut down the back and front ends a bit scratch made the new grille and tail light panel from pieces from my parts boxes the light bar is from the johan 68 fury police car kit the lower air dam and bumpers and cb radio antenna came from my parts boxes i 3d resin printed the cb radio transmitter the dash i 3d resin printed i mirrored the dash in the slicer so it would print as a right hand drive version i then used putty to fill in the instrument panel so i could make the correct layout and number of gauges i custom made the sergeant rosco p coltrane figure using a random 1/25 scale figure and scratch made his cap and brush painted him with acrylic craft paints i painted the body and rims rust-oulem 2x satin french blue and then sprayed a coat of rust-oleum 2x gloss clear over it i brush painted the interior apple barrel matte khaki acrylic paint i had the south australian police logo decal custom made the police decals came from my decal box Rosco's 74 chrysler VJ valiant patrol car.mp4 1
