Hi all,

So, this is basically a repost of my 41 Chevy  pickup but with all new photos. I haven’t figured out editing an old post. To recap, it is 11 scale inches shorter, 4 1/2” in front of the rear wheels, 6 1/2” behind. I swapped out the straight six and added a blown 409 with scratch built intake and side drafts. Parts box wheels and tires,  carbon fibre decals used on the rear bumper and for the bed. Stance has been lowered, and aluminum tubing for exhaust tips. The interior has a fabric seat cover. The paint is metallic red with matte clear. Not a new build, so some of you have already seen this. Hope you don’t mind the repost…

This truck has quite a few miles on it, which shows. It’s been to California for NNL west, Washington state, more locally Vancouver, as well as a couple of local shows… I’m posting this partly because I will be building another one of these in the coming year. Pretty sure I can do a little better next time…

Don't mind a re-post at all Steve, especially when it's a killer build like this of a 41 Chevy pickup Hot Rod.  Love the color and that 409 with the side drafts couldn't fit any better.  Just a Bodacious buld Steve.

Thanks Mark, nice to hear from you sir.  On a side note, I’m finishing up a shop truck build soon, then I’ll be starting a pro street build, hope you’ll check in once I get going, should be an interesting build.

Hi Bob! Well, I know you like your fat fendered rides, with blown big blocks, so I figured this would appeal to you. Love your Willy’s build.

Thank you very much Keith. I always appreciate your kind words. I will be building another 41 Chevy truck as a shop truck, HOPEFULLY, in the fall. If all goes well, it should be an improvement over this one.

Remember this pick-up build. Impressive paint finish and body details. The engine looks great.

This truck must be a favorite of yours - you always do great work, but the fit and finish on this one seems like you went a tick extra with it.  Beautiful truck in a terrific setting!

Hi Brian! This is a bit of an older build, maybe 2017ish. As mentioned above, I will be building another one of these later this year, and hope to improve on it. Thanks for the kind words sir.

Well… I’m hoping I can do just that Greg. I have another 41 Chev p/u build planned for this fall. Love these trucks.  Now you’ve added some pressure…I better step my game up!😅🥵
Thanks for the kind words.

What a treat to see. This is the first time I've seen it. Wow. Those carbs and stance and photos.

Thank you Robert, much appreciated. I like my builds to sit low. Stance is everything… well almost everything.

Super Matte Paint Finish!

Thanks Pat. I seem to have developed a “thing” for matte metallic finishes. Still like polished paint jobs too though…
