Tim H Posted March 15 Posted March 15 I am building the reissue of the 68 Coronet R/T convert. I have a better chassis to put under it, AMT 69 GTX. I think the build would look great with a set of steelies and dog dishes. Anyone know who produces some? Thanks Tim
stavanzer Posted March 16 Posted March 16 I'd start with Fireball Models, Tim. https://www.fireballmodels.info/ He has some great MOPAR Wheels and Tires. 1
Can-Con Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Wouldn't they be the same as the ones in the Revell '68 Charger kit?

Mark Posted March 20 Posted March 20 If you are into muscle Mopars, that Charger and the '68 Hemi Dart are both must-have kits. Both are gold mines in terms of parts. And in many cases, you can lift desirable parts for a project AND still build the kit. 2
slusher Posted March 20 Posted March 20 here are Mopar dog dish https://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/threads/guide-to-poverty-cap-applications.512387/

The steelies/poverty caps aren't even shown/mentioned on the side panel. I suspect the Revell USA team made a point of adding them since the Magnums weren't correct for a Hemi car. Then the doofuses (doofi?) who created that box art didn't even show/mention the new parts. Perfect example of Hobbico shooting themselves in the foot.

The 383/440 (yes, it can be both!) in the ‘68 Dart is my go-to for a big block Mopar engine with an automatic. Swap the exhaust manifolds and air cleaner to suit, and it can be used in almost anything! 1
Hondamatic Posted Thursday at 10:28 PM Posted Thursday at 10:28 PM Revell 68 Charger, box stock except the redlines from their Daytona 1
