Built last year . I had a lot of issues with the engine, rad, air filter etc... fitting in that bay, so I did omit a few things and left the hood shut before I would loose my mind. The rest went smoothly. I'm ok how it turned out though. the Tamiya mica blue came out nice .

Thanks for your time. edited the post to reflect the correct year.

Beautiful paint and color. Like the photography and the landscape background. You may want to double check the year model represented since this looks more like a '67 than a '68 if that should even matter.

Supper happy they opted to extend the C2 production run an extra year. It's the best looking Vette ever. Ok Mario, now that you have shown the real car can we see the model please?  😃

Great job! I just wonder on some kits why things don’t fit. You wonder if anyone actually builds it at revell. I really used to get upset on models. That did not fit. Now I just cut, sand or whatever it takes. Model factory hiro kits are really bad for this. You pay a fortune on a kit and things just do not fit. Getting burnt out on this so I’m putting them away for awhile. I have bought so many hiro kits that now I’m insane. So for my own good I’m putting them away for awhile to regain my sanity.  Your build is nice. And I understand completely on fit.

Sweet Vette. Absolutely love the color, and you can't go wrong with white stripes on a dark car. Congrats on getting it done.

I have a half-finished Revell '67 convertible sitting in my stash from 2003 or so. The fit issues underhood were so frustrating, it's been sitting in the box for more than 20 years.

Thanks Pierre for so diplomatically correcting me about the year (what was I thinking) obviously I am not a gm expert.😀

Very nice! I love the blue. I built the convertible version and had the same issues you did.

Thanks Jeff. Aside from the engine bay, this kit builds well but fitting everything in that engine bay is sure a challenge. I'm glad it's done albeit minus a few items.

Thanks Bruce, I hear you, I've given up on a few models myself. Now ,like you I just dremel out until it fits.

Thanks DJ. It can get frustrating, in my case , this one will have it's hood permanently shut, besides, it still looks good in the cabinet right next to my 69 Corvette.
