STU111 Posted March 25 Posted March 25 My sister gave me this kit as a gift. She knew I liked US muscle cars. Mustangs and Camaros are pretty common here in Australia, not so much Oldsmobile 442’s. I loved the look of the Olds, but I didn’t know much about them. I did a lot of research on them in conjunction with building this kit and I came away a big fan of this car, if l win the lottery, I’d like to have a pristine example shipped down here to Australia for me, but while I wait for that highly unlikely event, I have this 1/25 version. As usual with anything I post, any comments are welcome, the good , the bad and the ugly. Thanks for looking. 👍🏻 19
Rocketman455 Posted March 25 Posted March 25 Well, all I can say is there isn't any bad.....having owned several real Olds That thing is BU-T-FULL..... 1

DanL Posted March 25 Posted March 25 Nice work... especially on the front end which can be a bit difficult Cheers 1
happy grumpy Posted March 25 Posted March 25 That paint looks like glass. This is a great kit from Revell. I built one and had no issues. You did a beautiful job on that sir. 1
TransAmMike Posted March 25 Posted March 25 (edited) Super job Stuart!! I had the pleasure of special ordering a '71Cutlass S with the W-25 scooped hood and HP350 back in the day and just loved that car. Great build 👍 Edited March 25 by TransAmMike 1 1
DJMar Posted March 25 Posted March 25 That's a mighty fine 442. Lots of sweet details, especially under the hood. Nicely done! 1
karbuildr Posted March 25 Posted March 25 I couldn't agree more with what the others have said. Very well done in every way. 1
espo Posted March 26 Posted March 26 The paint finish surpasses anything GM provided on the 1:1 442's. Beautiful paint color and striping. Clean body trim and engine detailing. 1 1
