The engine looks like a later piece than the body, which is one piece with molded-in interior, and molded in red.

No manufacturer’s marking on the inside of the body or under the frame…anyone recognize this one?

All that I can tell you is that the wheels and tires are from the Monogram ‘58 T-Bird kit.

Otherwise, it’s not my genre.

Actually, googling 50s Ford hubcaps to see what they were was on my to-do list this evening - ha!  I was going to figure out what those were - thanks Steve!

It could be a strombecker model. not sure the pyro, lindberg or the other off brand had a one piece body with an interior molded in. Palmer was the other off brand. It does look to be kit bashed for the nice look it jas now.

I have no clue what it is, but give it a bath and some gentle cleaning, and affix that left front wheels, and you got one heck of a "Survivor" display piece!

Yep, bingo, that must be it!  It’s a cool old piece that someone did a nice job of anyway - it’ll get a gentle restoration at some point, soon as I find a windshield frame for it…

Thanks fellas!
