Hi Pat.

When I was building 1/43rd F1 cars, I'd use Flitz polish for the wheels and the other parts. I'd use a polishing wheel ( that round cotton pad ) to polish the white metal parts. In the case of wire wheels, use a Q Tip to polish the parts.

The wire bit is to harsh, When I was polishing the metal wheels in the testors HSO kit, I used the cotton wheels and felt pointed pads.
