stavanzer Posted April 6 Posted April 6 Watched the Throttle Power video. Shows some really neat Truck coming up! The '85 Jimmy High Roller looks to be the Second Hit from the "Stranger Things" Blazer tooling. The "Captain Hook" Wrecker is back. The Ex-Monogram S-10 is Back as a Lowrider. The Ex-Monogram Chevy Luv is back as a "High Roller" kit. And it really the old High Roller tooling, unlike the Jimmy kit listed above. Revell Jeep J-10 Honcho, "Dude" Package pickup with Camper Shell. This kit has not had the Camper Shell, since the First Issue in 1981. So, 5 new Truck kits of assorted Quality. From the New Tool Jimmy, to the "Iffy" snap kit Wrecker. Something for most Truck Modelers Tastes. 3
av405 Posted April 6 Posted April 6 Thanks. The Jimmy box art officially sold me on it. I'll get at least one, possibly more depending on the exact contents of the kit. 1
Radretireddad Posted April 6 Posted April 6 (edited) I’m a little disappointed. The Captain Hook and the Jeep J-10 kits I remember being really crude basic kits even for the era they were first released just like the new Ford Dually release so I’ll pass on those. I already own an original Fiero kit, ‘64 GTO, three ‘68 Corvettes converts and two S-10’s so I’m good there. I think I’ll wait for the new Jimmy kit and pass on the ST Blazer version as long the wheels and suspension are stock. The 911 convertible will be needed to keep the series in my stash current. DJMar Posted April 7 Posted April 7 The lowrider S-10 is on my list, as I missed picking one up last time it was around. I'm hoping it has the stock engine/drivetrain, as opposed to the Syclone bits in the Street Sleeper release. I'm pretty chuffed to see the Luv High Roller. Even though it isn't my favorite of the series, the Luv needs some love. 1

stavanzer Posted April 9 Author Posted April 9 I wish we could get those Tires in 1/25 Scale! They'd look great on some of these new truck kits. 1
TonyK Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Not real interested in the pickup but the dirt bike is 1/16th scale too? Don't think I've seen that kit before. 1

They had a few different versions of that truck, the most recent being the monster truck versions. Also funny you say you’re not interested in the truck, that line of kits (pre-monster truck) was a holy grail kit find for me! 1/16 scale kits aren’t real common, even less so one of a classic Square Body!
