yellowsportwagon Posted April 6 Posted April 6 (edited) Just finished this Johan Eldorado. This was the wierd issue where they eliminated the quarter gills bodyside molding and engine size emblems. I figured I could build something like an Auto show concept car type thing because of the missing trim. So I got a set of Sabre wheels from 3D scale parts. Expensive but the nicest ones out there. I lowered it a bit and painted it a new Lexus color Sonic Copper. Moved the distributor to the front of the engine to make it look a bit more Cadillac than the olds motor it really is. Used a more realistic air cleaner too. Edited April 6 by yellowsportwagon 21
Claude Thibodeau Posted April 7 Posted April 7 Hi Tim! The shave and clean-up look great. The beveled trunk of the first two years of this bodystyle is really the nicest looking. Bravo! CT
ea0863 Posted April 7 Posted April 7 I like the de-trimmed look very much, and LOVE that color choice. It really does look like a concept car. Well done!
espo Posted April 7 Posted April 7 Beautiful paint color and finish. Like the clean body with no vinyl roof or body trim.
happy grumpy Posted April 7 Posted April 7 Very cool ride. Great color choice, really nice under the sun
karbuildr Posted April 7 Posted April 7 Love it. That color is awesome, I like the smooth sides and the custom type wheels.
Koellefornia Kid Posted April 9 Posted April 9 Awesome caddy, top shelf build! Really like the color!
Steve H Posted April 12 Posted April 12 Really cool looking addy Tim! As mentioned, that colour is perfect on it, also a killer shine on that paint.
Phildaupho Posted April 12 Posted April 12 As Jay Leno often comments about a great looking car - VERY NICE!!.
ncbuckeye67 Posted April 12 Posted April 12 Excellent build! That actually looks like it could be a factory color. Beautiful paintwork!
