Well at long last I have completed my version of the venerable 29 closed cab pickup, inspired by a tribute thread but chose not to go the 80’s billet rod way. I started with the 1982 “Hot Rod” version. Having built a couple of the early Revell kit line from the 60’s I know I was in for some fiddly parts and assembly, but that’s never scared me off from these vintage molds. Check the build thread for the details.

The finished pics are below with some additional along the way pics featuring my original oob build from the rat rod series.

Thanks for looking!

Great looking body and trim colors. Like how you did the flathead engine and the doors and hinges.

Classic and cool. Liking the stance. I ordered a 29 Truck kit by Revell and look forward to doing it slammed and without fenders.

Thank you, it’s not to hard to get a decent stance from the truck. Wanna sell the bike lol?

One of the guys in our group has already spoken up for it. I member when it was one of the Parts Packs on the wire rack thing in our local hobby shop around 1963(?) I built it without knowing to scrape the chrome away from the glue spots. HA! Couldn't figure out why it kept falling apart.
