Dave Darby Posted Tuesday at 03:15 PM Posted Tuesday at 03:15 PM Sweet! I double need that kit now. I wonder if that artwork is by Jeff Allison. He just joined Round 2 about a month ago. 1
Junkman Posted Tuesday at 07:32 PM Posted Tuesday at 07:32 PM Imagine the box content would yield a model looking remotely similar to the box art 😂 1
stitchdup Posted Tuesday at 08:14 PM Posted Tuesday at 08:14 PM it kinda makes me think it should be filled with cookies and i dont know why as nothing in the artwork is related to biscuits 1 3
M W Elky Posted Tuesday at 08:59 PM Posted Tuesday at 08:59 PM It looks like I’ll be adding to my box art collection

Daddyfink Posted Tuesday at 09:20 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:20 PM Yeah, don't need to spend money on another re issue gimmick. Pass 2
W-409 Posted Wednesday at 03:43 AM Posted Wednesday at 03:43 AM I have one of these kits that's missing some parts. Now that I've bought some of the missing parts in eBay, decals from Slixx and also one glue bomb from a friend that will give me the rest of the parts needed to build Ohio George's Willys, it's natural that they will reissue the kit. So, glad to see it's reissued, but personally don't need it for now...
Ragtop Man Posted Wednesday at 02:18 PM Posted Wednesday at 02:18 PM Help me understand the tin box thing... are those really that collectable where they add value to the contents?

Hotrodical customs Posted Wednesday at 02:54 PM Posted Wednesday at 02:54 PM I’m not sure what you mean??
RSchnell Posted Thursday at 02:43 AM Posted Thursday at 02:43 AM I'll probably pick one of these up if nothing else for the nostalgia factor. This is one of the first kits my Dad helped me put together back in the day.

At the last reissue, Round 2 put the correct decals, tires and missing parts back in. Edited Thursday at 11:45 AM by Dave Darby
Mark Posted Thursday at 05:21 PM Posted Thursday at 05:21 PM I'm puzzled by the "remotely similar" comment too...this is one of the more authentic Gasser kits. Might be the best, top five for sure. The only thing holding it back over the years has been tires. First-run 1967 kits had two-piece plastic tires and slicks. Apparently buyers were okay with plastic tires in the $1.70 altered wheelbase funny car kits, but weren't so crazy about them in a $2.00 kit. AMT deleted the plastic tires and threw in vinyl ones. The hollow M&H/Goodyear (on opposite sidewalls) were so-so, but the Trophy Series tires used for the front just didn't cut it. 1
Bill Eh? Posted Thursday at 07:00 PM Posted Thursday at 07:00 PM Would I be correct in assuming that the contents will be the same as those in this boxing? I have a couple of this version as well as an original.

Bill Eh? Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Thanks Ken. The artwork is good. But the artwork combined with a tin box is not enough to entice me into buying another.
