Mercman
This is a build I did for my best friend. Back in High School he has a 64 Impala. He always wanted to do repaint it candy root beer, but with wages at $1.95 hour, you couldn't afford the shop tiome. It took me a while but I got this one made for him as a birthday gift. I started with a 1.00 glue bomb painted red, and finished it off like this. Color is HOK Candy Pagan Gold base, with Candy Rootbeer over it. Top is Testors Light Ivory, and the interior is acrylic Antique White. The tires, and rims are from AMT 49 Merc kit.

Mercman
The guy I built this for we have been friends for 53 years now. We were best man at each others weddings, and both of us are godfathers to each others daughters. I;ve knpown him since we were 3 years old. I'm also doing a car for his wife, and son. Harry P.
I don't think I've ever seen a '64 Impala in that color... but man, it looks great! Especially with the cream colored roof. I really don't like the styling of the '64 Impala ('63, '65-6-7 much better), but in this color that's a cool looking car. Nice job!
