Joe Handley Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 (edited) Oxi-Clean overdose? Maybe a blow to the head, I guess he was on a flight from Pennsylvania to Florida that had a blow out and a hard enough landing that the luggage in the overhead bins rained down on the passengers, himself included. Edited June 28, 2009 by Joe Handley
crazyjim Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 I'm not going to miss him or Michael Jackson - Ed McMahon somewhat and Farrah lots.
59-Desoto Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 I have a feeling Patrick Swayze may not be far behind.....Alot of celebs seem to be checking out these days... Thats one I have been expecting most any time
Lyle Willits Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 92 year old, Walter Cronkite is very seriously ill and close to death. If you're too young to know him, then you've never heard a true and honest news journalist. This isn't a sudden trend. Many thousands of people are born every day and many thousands of people die every day. A very small few are famous, so they make the news. "And that's the way it is."
B_rad88 Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 i just saw another one of his commercials! is was for arm&hammer baking soda!
FujimiLover Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Walter Cronkite is an oldy for sure. I remember Bruce Almighty doing him, "And this is Walter Cronkite, and that's the way the cooky crumbles, and that's the way, uh, huh, uh huh, I like it! Uh, huh!" As he's holding a comb above his lip like a mustache. Seems wired that we've lost four celebes in one week already. Very sad news and I feel for all families and friends even if I don't personally cared for the celebrity himself. Billy Mays did annoy the heck out of me and I always muted his tv advertisements, but still very sad to see him gone.
Harry P. Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Walter Cronkite is near death??? I didn't know that, hadn't heard anything.
Joe Handley Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 I forgot about him, the were saying on the news that Cronkite wasn't doing too good, flu or pneumonia I think.
mountaindewd Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Add David Carradine and that is five well known celebs this month.
mountaindewd Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 I remember Walter Kronkite from when I was young. I always liked his character. But, no on air personality could beat the late Paul Harvey. I could never get tired of hearing his broadcasts.

cruz Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Whoa, Now BILLY Mayes is GONE TOO?????? Geeze, I wonder if they'll pull his advo-mercials? He sure seemed like a down to earth kinda guy, I watched that goofy show he just started, an I liked him. Man I'm sure glad I ain't no celebrity! That's right George, we "unknowns" are gonna live for ever!!! My advice to you, don't become too popular in this forum or you just might be next in line!!!
Harry P. Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 If I was the Sham-Wow guy I'd be nervous right now...
Rob Hall Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 I saw a product the other day at the Family Dollar store near my house called Sham-EZE. I got the h-e-double-hockey-sticks away from it as fast as I could because I figured it was one of those Sham-Wow imitators I'm supposed to beware of! ;) Sham-Wow- accept no substitutes. Nothing less than the real thing will do..
Harry P. Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 If I threw my Sham-Wow into the washer and added some OxiClean... would that throw the Earth off its axis? Cuz if so, I won't do it...
plasticbutcher Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Don't do it Harry, that would cause a rip in the time-space continuim, resulting an aternet reality in which Barney the dinosour would be Presidnet of the USA HAHAHAHAHAHA
george 53 Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Harry, Now you know if you did that, you get "Sham-Clean"! And you KNOW you CAN'T have that!!!
