<img src="http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":o" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" /> I get in these moods once in a great while where I need to create "Stuff", so I'm sorta on a building

"Rampage" <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />. Got at least two more to do, then maybe "The Need" or the "Frenzy" will calm down - I love it when I get like this.

Another one of those projects been sittin' for a while, including pic's in the box, so after about 4 hours, we got 'er pretty well "Roughed Out".

This'll be a stock bodied street rod with finished fenders, bumpers, a spare tire, and running board's, and no tilt front clip.

Maybe a Duplicolor Flecks Tangerine color to fini

That is TOO COOL! I've always loved the '32 Ford Vicky look but I never thought about how great it would be on a Willys or maybe a...??? Great imagination. I think that's the best part of this hobby!

Thanks Manuel ;)

That's the cool thing about model car building. You can let your imagination go wherever you want and create just about anything for just a few $$$$ - PRETTY COOL to me.

I love the look in putty ... but then, I love bodywork. ..as I look it over, my mind keeps going to picking out a sanding block and running it through those peaks of putty!

Now, Vickytorian Lace keeps coming to mind.. on man... need quick update to help me.

Been a while, so thought I'd post some update pic's.

The blue donor van in the background is a snap kit but has some pretty kool features that the full van kit by MPC doesn't offer, like a chrome grill, instead of decals.

I used the grill surround, and I'll use the hood side panels and the fenders and the running boards also from the blue snap kit.

This is fun :) .

Any comments welcome - thanks.

I'm sort of a "Putty-throwing Junkie" and a "Slice and Dice" kinda builder  .

I get these idea's and mental pictures, and like the old man said in the movie The Karate Kid, I "makka da piture" .

Anyway, the blue van donor body lost more pieces today as I trimmed off the fenders and part of the body for the "Wedge shape" to be grafted on with the fenders simultaneously. I lengthened the rear fenders also to match up to the running boards.

Got the fenders on the other side all trimmed to fit also, and will probably be added tomorrow - FUN.

Here's how she looks so far.
