Noel, I can vouch for Kevin's stuff. His Cougar kit is SOOOOO nice, when you see it, you'll think it was an ORIGINAL kit! It's so well cast , you'll think it's plastic! Both Kevin's AND Jeff's Motor City Resins kits are exact in their detail, and casting! If you do go with them you WON'T be dissapointed!:lol::(

I have one of the convertibles, and I can say it matches up very well to my oriiginal unbuilt hardtop kit. All you need is an AMT '73 Cougar for the rest of the parts, and you're good to go.

That should work as I think the 70 is the last of the Original Design.

I Think Missing Link offers the 70 Convertible kit, so likely offers the grill/bumpers & tail lights

Kevin @ Missing Link offered a '70 Cougar . Contact him for information . Modelhaus offers a ''67 . It is curbside . If these fail , check <rocketfin.com> . Scroll to the bottom , click Model Car , and do a resin search . Thanx ..

I love '70 Cougars. I have owned them in real life for over a quarter century now. I still have one in the garage that needs a loving restoration if my health and finances hold out. I haven't bought a lot of resin kits lately, because I have a backlog of kits to build, but a '70 Cougar coming back would push me over the edge. I would need at least two of them to build my long lost "babies". One for street and one for strip! It wouldn't be complete, though until I lit it up with the sequential turn signals. Last time I drove my red '70 before selling it, I got pulled over by a young cop who thought I had some illegal aftermarket flasher system in the car. Luckily, an older officer stopped by to look at the car while it was pulled over and explained that his Dad had one of those when he was a little kid, and the lights were supposed to do that!

I wanted to build that one myself. I have an old built-up cleaned up and ready to go, but I am having problems getting good info on it, so I am going to do a stock Eliminator.

Yes. I thought if you had none maybe you wanted a nice body to make more?

i have a few of the complete kits some mint condition, that is not the problem...the molds i made have worn out
