RodBurNeR Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Monogram Blue Beetle CLONE 100% correct other than the valve covers Jimmy Flintstone body killed another unbuilt kit built in less than 20 minutes probably? I had fun with it, made a lot of people say "HUH?" but that's what put the icing on the cake for me. Thanks for all the FUN!
karbuildr Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Great stuff, especially like those kustoms. Thanks for sharing.
crazyjim Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Didn't Nick Winters post that '57 Chevy as his build?
RodBurNeR Posted December 7, 2009 Author Posted December 7, 2009 Didn't Nick Winters post that '57 Chevy as his build? No, but he did reply to that thread. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=25437 Thanks for the nice comments everyone, have a good day it's snowing here!
crazyjim Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Oh Nick replied. That's probably where I got confused, but remembered that I saw the 2 together. Thanks for getting me straight. I thought we're supposed to keep our language clean here. You used that 4 letter word (cold white stuff from the sky). Supposed to be sunny and 75 down here on the central left coast of FLA.
plasticfrog Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Awesome work!! love how you did the 1964 chevy.
Chuck Most Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Only one question, Bob... where's the ugly one? I can't seem to find it!
crispy Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Bob, great work! Really like that triple T! Now, If I were to send you Ferrari, modern, with instruction to not paint red, would you build it??? LOL Good stuff! Chris
Harold Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Nice collection there, Rob. I especially like the '60 Merc and the '64 Ford .

rustybill1960 Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 ugly?!? me thinks ye had best lookth yet in another dictionary young sir for surely ye definition of "ugly" be wrong heartly in other words "THEY BE SWEET LOOKIN' BUILDS MAN!!!" the beetle clone is totally sweetness man as well as some of those '32s and for sure that "sweet a$$ '57 metalflaked beauty" is "thee" list topper dude thanks for sharing man later
Nick Winter Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Didn't Nick Winters post that '57 Chevy as his build? heck no mine's worse than that by a lot. Commented on Bob's though, now that I seen your's Bob it's got that sorta so weird it works look, I kinda like it now, and Jim it "WINTER" no "S", I always get "WINTERS", but every peice of identification I have says Nick or Nicholas "WINTER", Heck Even my Toolbox says that. oh to prove how bad my '57 Chevy is here a picture I built it about 2 or 3 years ago atleast the opening trunk takes away from the ugly a bit right. oh and one more thing Bob, I love the way your "Touch Tone Terror" turned, one of the few I've seen built.
RodBurNeR Posted December 8, 2009 Author Posted December 8, 2009 rustbilly, thanks for the comp's! Nick, thanks the TTT was fun. I have about 80% of my projects are kits or cars and trucks that you don't see very often. I guess that's one of my joys in this hobby is to be able to build the htf stuff and share it in this day and age.
