SpreadAxle Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 (edited) Beside the infamous Iowa 80 truckstop is the Iowa 80 Trucking Museum. The trucks on display are mostly from the Bill Moon collection. The late Bill Moon was the founder of the Iowa 80 truckstop. However, other collectors do display their trucks on loan to the museum. The trucks on display are periodically rotated. I have been to the museum twice this year. I know some of you may never get to see it, so I thought I would share the trucks with you. There is a theater, playing old truck documentary films, and a gift shop. Admission is free, but they do take donations. If you plan to go, it's in Walcott, IA. I 80, exit 284. It's just north of the truck entry/exit drive to the Iowa 80 TA truckstop. I hope you enjoy the pix. Murphy's Law Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 Cool pics. I had no idea the Bandag Bandit was housed there. Been by there dozens of times and never took the time to stop.
