Corvette.Jeff Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 When it comes to knowing what models there are out there im pretty much clueless, so im asking ya'll. Heres my old beat up dirtbike that i have, From what the previious owner said its an 87' yamaha yfz 350. Im not sure though, its alot faster than my terrapro 350. Did anybody ever make a kit of this? Thanks,Jeff
85firebird Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Best bet is tamiya. Not sure if they have one that is exactly that model, but tamiya has a lot of model bikes you can check out.
randx0 Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 I do not have a clue as to the larger scale stuff but in 1/25th scale all that is available are some seventies vintage dirt bikes.most recently available from revell in the desert rat a datsun pick up with a trailer and two yamaha again these are 70's dirt bikes so the most you could use would be the wheels maybe.there are some dirtbikes in diecast ,Zee company when I was a kid but I have know idea what company is producing them now. and hot wheels made a kawasaki dirt bike about 12 years ago I haven't seen it since.
gray07 Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 I have this one it came with a truck i think 1/24-1/25 i know your probaly wanting a bigger one
diymirage Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 gotta love those vintage yamahas i used to have a 75 yamaha RD250 it was given to me because it didnt run took me almost 2 days to get her going again kinda regret selling her but i didnt have a endorsment back then so i bought what i thought was a moped turned out anything in michigan which has a manual gearbox is considered a motorcycle so now i got my endorsment and this is what i scoot around town on its a 1988 yamaha DT50LC not bad for a 50 CC lol by the way, gray if jeff declines the dirtbike id love to take it of your hands
