Marc @ MPC Motorsports Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 AMT 1962 Ford Falcon Futura. A curbside build from an original 1962 built kit. Go to my "On The Workbench" thread for all the details. Enjoy!!!
Shawn Tillotson Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 What's this, a completed model out of Nellis!! Just kidding, you got me beat for the year. Looks great and of course you know I am soft for that color combo!
Marc @ MPC Motorsports Posted January 31, 2010 Author Posted January 31, 2010 Nice, job, Mark! Did you use the 23" Pegasus wheel sleeves on the rear? Yes, they are Pegasus 23" stepped sleeves. I polished them with my Dremel and some Wenol polish to shine them up a bit.
Foxer Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 I don't believe I've ever see a '62 Falcon that I thought looked good. This one is amazing! nice job!
Reeves Racing Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 That is sharp. Nice paint, the stance, wheel size and offset, everything is perfect. I love this one.
fordsixty Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 marc, your builds are always drop dead gorgeous. this one is especially sweet. hard to beat a black car, red interior and beautiful chrome. have a buddy with a '62 Q code galaxie in the exact color combo. great work.
whale392 Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Very clean and meticulous! How did you get the rim/tire combo to fit so well (I have a 61 Comet I am redoing as well, and had to stick to some lower diameter wheels/tires to fit into the wheelwells)?
Longbow Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 There are some builds on this site that rookies shoot for & hope to one day come close to the quality & visible appeal that your work makes us want to aspire too. Sweet!!!!!!!!!!!
Janne Herajärvi Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 Very cool! Never mind of color as long its black!
LODI3QTR Posted May 11, 2018 Posted May 11, 2018 (edited) I Love Your Falcon I just ran across this Topic. I have a Real '62 Falcon Deluxe with 35,000 Original miles on it. If I were going to make My Falcon into a HOT ROD thats how I would like it to look. Would You Be Interested In Selling Your '62 Falcon Model ? Edited May 14, 2018 by LODI3QTR

Ron Hamilton Posted May 12, 2018 Posted May 12, 2018 I am working on a 62 Falcon right now. They are rather scarce. I found mine on Ebay earlier this year, and no, it is not for sale. You have a nice one to one.
LODI3QTR Posted May 12, 2018 Posted May 12, 2018 Thanks, I just would like to buy the Falcon in this post because I like the build. I have about 20 unbuilt 1960, 1961, 1962s my self.
Slotto Posted May 13, 2018 Posted May 13, 2018 Great build! I love it! Great color and finish. Those wheels look perfect for this car.
ewetwo Posted May 13, 2018 Posted May 13, 2018 Looks like something you'd see on Monkey Garage. Nice.
Dave Darby Posted May 13, 2018 Posted May 13, 2018 Always loved those bubbletop Falcons. I owned an early 62 like that too. (Mid year they changed to the square back roof they used through 65.) Gorgeous build Marc!

Mr. Metallic Posted May 17, 2018 Posted May 17, 2018 Glad this one got a bump because I had never seen it before. Sweet build as always Marc. Stance and color combo are perfect. Well done
