BigBeze Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 (edited) Here it is! Final edition. I got hooked up with some good people on here, not going to say any names, whale392. Thank you very much for the rims. Makes it look like a winning piece from a distance. Edited March 9, 2010 by BigBeze
Lownslow Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 nice resto not sure about those wheels but to each his own
BigBeze Posted March 1, 2010 Author Posted March 1, 2010 Hope to hook up with some 05 mustang rims, They are just holding the car up for right now.
whale392 Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 Looks good. The taillights are a horror at best to paint on this kit, and I think you found a good way to do them. The '05 wheels should look very nice on the car.
Eric Stone Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 Looks pretty good. If you do any more Foxes and want some detailed reference shots for 87-93's, let me know and I can go out in the garage and shoot some for you, or provide you with some I've already saved. Whale392 could probably hook you up with some four-eye detail shots, since he has some 1:1s...
whale392 Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 Eric is right; with 3 Mustangs from 1983-86, I can definately set you up with references for that year grouping, as well as my ties to a certain online establishment that caters to the 1979-86 Mustangs, Capris, SVOs, TurboCoupes, and all other FoxChassis cars in that year group. I also have my 1991GT base model to draw from as well. If you do decide to build another Fox (or 3), I am sure Eric and I will be more than willing to help out where we can. And I agree on the taillight thing; I hate the 87-93 'Cheese Grater' taillights, which is why my 91GT has the 83-86 tails (think 93 Cobra tails without the stripes).
BigBeze Posted March 1, 2010 Author Posted March 1, 2010 Thanks guys for all your input and offers. If I get more money soon I will need the pics of them so I can make it look better. Yes it is missing the shifter, I totaly forgot about it. I put it up after I got bummed about my dog eating my side view mirrors. Shifter will be added. Thanks.

The '93 Cobra I have sitting here has a pair of convertible side mirrors that I won't be using. PM me your address and I'll get em out to you.
MyBradKeselowski Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 Very nicely done,I like the color... Good job on those taillights, they are a pain
nails3825 Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 Oh, nice! Those rims look awesome on this 'stang... great looking build, makes me happy
Eric Stone Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Nice, I didn't see it with the 05 wheels. I like them on there. Now I'm checking to see how the 05's look on my 85 SVO... Are those the stock 05 tires? They look like they have a lower profile.
whale392 Posted March 10, 2010 Posted March 10, 2010 Eric, the tires on those rims are from the 'Fast and Furious' Supra kits..........they look SOOOOOO much better than the stock '05 Stang rubber; and they do look killer on an SVO (trust me, I have seen then on a real 1982 Mustang and an 86SVO.........SEXY!). Brandon; glad I could help, and the car looks 100% better with them under it versus the 'lowrider' fare.

Thanks, I thought those were different tires... I might have to find one of those Supras for the tires. The tread on the Revell 05 Mustang tires looks cool, like KDW's, but the sidewalls are too tall.
