ufe 64 Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 a Mr hobby kit whit wheels from Fujimi Porsche 356
BigGary Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 It does my heart good to see the old Beetle. I've had 13 1:1 air cooled VWs. This one almost looks real except for the missing lugnuts. My last one also had the stinger exhaust. I've got the burn scars on my shins to prove it. Gary
Jon Cole Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Those Fujimi wheels... is each wheel a two piece unit? If so, I wish they were available in resin!

torinobradley Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Those Fujimi wheels... is each wheel a two piece unit? If so, I wish they were available in resin! The finned drum and the wheel are separate items. Beautiful to be sure. I wouldn't mind a few sets of these cast up either.

Get a little too close and you notice a stinging sensation on your legs? Sweet looking Beetle man. I love those wheels on it! Perfect stance and the red hubs with the black body look great!
peter31a Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Now that's the way to do a Dub! Nice work on the VW. Peter
Chuck Most Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Is that "Mr. Hobby" kit the same as the Gunze Sangyo '56 kit? It looks eerily similar. Love the model!
