Wheels Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 This model is a combination of a Modelhaus resin kit and a Revell Chevy Caprice police car snap kit. It will be built as an EMS Supervisor's car. I have added a parts box lightbar and the rims & tires from the Revell Chevy Impala police car so far. The interior was mated with the Revell kit's interior tub and painted with a Duplicolor Tan. It is painted with Duplicolor Dark Toreador Metallic (T413). It's a pretty neat little kit from Modelhaus. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki
James Flowers Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Always nice to see a station wagon being built. Not many of them around. Looks like you are off to a good start.
FordWagonNut Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 It's a clean kit. I have the Buick Roadmaster from the MH, can't wait to get started on it.
Tom T Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 VERY COOL! I'm a big fan of both wagons and doing obscure Municipal kits. Keep `em coming! Tom
Jon Cole Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 Nice! I have a similar body here from Perry's that I bought several years ago at the NNL East. He who dies with the most resin bodies... wins! BTW, I spied the original uploaded photo of yours... plate looks familiar. Plus that door emblem... looks like it may be Manchester, NH?
charlie8575 Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 The car pictured is a 1993, it's a Caprice Classic. The standard Caprice was 1991-92 only. I plan on picking up one of those and building a model of my car (although the model will be in better shape!) Charlie Larkin
