Rick Schmidt Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 Here's an Idea I am toying with. Got this 66 Thunderbird that's been stock since I built it. Got to thinking it needs a slight change in style and altitude. So I dug out What leftovers I had from it, Skirts roof with Irons custom hood and the custom rear bumper. I'm thinking the rear is plenty low but the front still needs to drop a hair. I aint sure about the irons on the roof sides yet and am Kinda liking the custom hood. And even tho it aint in the pics the custom rear bumper seems to even out the tail with the front Any ideas thoughts or the like ??
Harold Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 Use the chassis and engine compartment from the AMT '62 T-Bird (a direct swap, though you'll have to alter the interior bucket from the '66). Paint the whole thing black and use the custom wheels from a Dodge Stealth, along with a set of AMT Gatorbacks.
