Here's my latest "effort", the Jimmy Flintstone '51 Nash body on a heavily butchered AMT '66 Mustang chassis, with a scratchbuilt interior, and a Jeep V8 made from spare JoHan and Monogram bits. The tires are from an AMT '70 Monte Carlo lowrider- I painted on some whitewalls, painted over the spokes with red, and used '53 F-100 caps. Enjoy!

You need to add some graphics to it... looks kinda empty. Do you have any decals you could use on the side panel area of the upper body? Or maybe some flames for the sides? You have a whole lot of empty canvas there...

I'm with Harry on this too, needs something on that side.........maybe to make it look like a shop truck.

BTW, good looking Magnum Sedan Delivery 'shop Harry!

For what it's worth, there are mabye three of mabye four 1-1 Nash Rambler American sedan deliveries still out there . One was featured years ago in Collectable Automobile Magazine .

Chuck, I have to hand it to ya for taking on Rod projects that most people would overlook. I had no idea that Flintstone was doing this body. Could you perhaps tell us a little as to how the body looked overall and what interior pieces came with it ? I for one would like to build a model of the sedan delivery that was featured in the magazine . Ed Shaver

Looks good Chuck, is it over at the Cave? Never EVER liked those cars, ever since the days that Clark Kent drove around in one, but YOUR lil car sure does change things! It looks good to me as it is. Came out GREAT!laugh.gifwink.gif

You have another winner there Chuck!

If you did any graphics I'd keep it simple like the 50's early 60's era hand painted graphics like they used on the trucks and some cars.

I want to see that jeep V8!

Very well, then...

As for graphics, I'm still up in the air. I mean, you EXPECT to see graphics on a panel, and since when have I ever done the expected? I might weather it, though.

Cool horn, which kit is it from,

AMT '66 Mustang, JoHan, or Monogram bits.

The horn is from the AMT '53 F-100 kit. The engine is a hodge podge of Johan and downsized Monogram parts. The radiator puke can is a Valvoline can from a Fujimi part pack, and the rest I dredged out of my spares box or made myself!

Chuck....another nock-out.....very well done......I would like to get my hands on one of these bodies and make a drag car out of it......thank`s for sharing.

Only word I can come up with is CUTE!! Just want to pick it up and hold it, or better yet, have two, one for each foot. Nice work, I rather like the plain look. Gonzo

:P I tend to agree with the word "cute" 'cause it is just that! It's a nice build - a stock one with Nash dealership decals would be awesome! These are on Ebay all tyhe time and they are not expensive. I have been looking at them and thinking but I don't know when I would ever getthe chance to do a build - I already have a lot of projects in mind and several started. Butyeah - she's a cutie! Nice build - congratulations! <_<
