Hi all, This idea came to me with the Camaro ( Midnight Z ) kit I am working on. I am doing a stock version and the kit only comes with smoke windows, headlights, and Tail lights. I want clean ones. The tail lights are a major factor on the back of this style car and I want to just paint them Model master transparent red. I really don't want dark headlights. I am sure some of you have been in this boat with other kits. Can you Bleach White clear parts like chrome parts? I know I could probrably get parts from you guys out there but I had to ask as I see this as a neat issue to share.

Brian, I doubt there's any way to bleach the smoked clear, but don't hold me to that. I figure you must have an older issue of that kit, because in the case of the sister kit 78 Trans Am, the last issue of it Revell did away with the smoke tint and made the parts clear. You might want to check the latest issue of the Z, they probably did the same with it, and you can use the clear for the stock and build a custom with the other kit.
