John Teresi Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 Hello everybody........today is the anniversary .........20 years ago today that the "Easyriders" streamliner broke the worlds record at the Bonneville salt flats for the fastest Harley Davidson motorcycle in the world.......the "Easyriders" streamliner L.S.R.H. held the record for 16 years..........I built this replica of my fathers "Easyriders" streamliner as a tribute and birthday gift for him......my model is in the current July issue of "Easyriders magazine and also in the current August issue of "Biker" magazine........if you would like to see how I built this model look in the 'Workbench" section around page 4 or 5 for the 'Jammer Cycle" streamliner........thanks for looking.
Chuck Most Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 I've seen images of the 1:1 vehicle before, but never made the connection. "Joe Teresi... John Teresi... hmmmm...." As usual John, I marvel at your talents! Of course, I'm pretty sure having the real deal handy for reference helped quite a bit, too!
pharr7226 Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 Absolutely stunning! Looking at your photos, I would swear that it was real. Well done.

Raul_Perez Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 The level of detail and realism n your models always amazes me!! Another GREAT model!! Thanks for sharing,
Scalper Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 (edited) Nice Bike. where is the model? Amazing work. jaw dropping. WOW Edited July 14, 2010 by Scalper
highway Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 Since "stun(ning)" "amazing" and "incredible" are off of the superlative list...I'll just go with "Wow!" Since Mark used my description, I'll go with SUPERB!!
bsoder Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 I've seen this magnificent model personally, and it is amazing!..and thanks to Johns great photos you can really see the incredible detail he's done here...although having been involved with the 1:1 I'm sure helped
John Teresi Posted July 15, 2010 Author Posted July 15, 2010 Thank you all for the nice comments.........really means alot to me.........thank`s again.
Sixties Sam Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 That's a model? No way! It has to be the real thing! I have never seen such great detail and scratch building work. It's magnificient! What a wonderful tribute to your dad and a piece of history! Way to go! Sam
bigmikevee Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 Hi John, Glad to see you are still having fun, I can always tell! Ok, just wanted to comment on your LSRH....simply beautiful, don't even have the words to tell you how much I enjoy your work, but....I have figured out how you do it. Everybody else thinks you shrink the real stuff, but I think you shrink yourself, work on your projects like you are working on 1:1 and then un-shrink yourself just in time for dinner!! Don't worry John, your secret is safe with me. Magnificent, and as always, thank you very much for posting to share with us. Mike
geckoman1220 Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 that is some great realism, when i saw the first few photos i though you were showing reference photos. then i realized it was the model.
pharr7226 Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 John, I already commented on this build. Today I looked at it again and it just amazes me. You didn't just sloppily put a lot a detail into. You painstakingly detailed it to a level that looks absolutely real. I couldn't resist a second compliment. You deserve it.
Danno Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 The photos are great, but trust me ... if you have not seen this model in person, you cannot truly understand the spectacular nature of this incredible model! John has always produced outstanding models, but this one puts them all away. Unfreakinbelievable!
Art Laski Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 John, This model is obviously incredible. No ruin everybody's day and tell us how long it took you. -Art
slant6 Posted July 17, 2010 Posted July 17, 2010 Taking pictures of a real car and posting them as a model just isn't right. Seriously though, absolutely amazing! Id love to see more pictures and some build photos.
Fe2o3 Posted July 17, 2010 Posted July 17, 2010 I have guys looking over my shoulder and I simply cannot convince them that this is a model. They've scrutinized the engine shots and say "no way". And one of them is an engine guy! I'm floored here. Simply incredible and amazing work!
MikeeD Posted July 17, 2010 Posted July 17, 2010 I'm speechless.....I simply don't have the words to convey my thoughts... I wanna be you when I grow up....
Dr. Cranky Posted July 17, 2010 Posted July 17, 2010 Thanks, buddy, my eyes just popped out of their sockets and rolled under the table. WOW!
Agent G Posted July 17, 2010 Posted July 17, 2010 I've been occasionally checking in, wondering just when in the hay he's gonna post pics of the model. then I realize he already did.............so much for my "trained observer" skills.
Darren B Posted July 18, 2010 Posted July 18, 2010 (edited) I thought when i started to read the thread that i was looking at the pics that created your inspiration. Wow i can not believe this is a model. I really can't just totally mind blowing work!!!!!!!!!!!!! Edited July 18, 2010 by Darren B
